Did I get your attention? Thought so! Yes, you read it correctly. Studies show there are benefits to eating chocolate.

After a bit of digging, I discovered that our bodies and brains benefit from high quality chocolate. In fact, studies show that people who consume moderate amounts of chocolate have a lower Body Mass Index than those who don’t.

So what’s the catch?

It all comes down to the ingredients and how the chocolate is processed. “Healthy chocolate” contains Cocoa Butter, which has a thermogenic/fat burning effect — similar to Green Tea. When consumed in moderation, high quality chocolate actually helps to control cravings for sugar and junk food.

To be considered “healthy”, the chocolate must be processed at a low temperature using real cocoa beans. This helps to preserve naturally occurring nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

So, you may be wondering, how did I discover this so-called “healthy chocolate” and where can it be found?

A few years ago, I started to incorporate a few high quality supplements into my diet. Although I typically work out six days per week and eat fairly healthy, my body was stuck. I had gained some weight after a fitness competition and I couldn’t get it off no matter how hard I worked in the gym or how clean I was eating. Once I started implementing cleanse days and intermittent fasting, my body released weight with ease, along with toxins and stored body fat. I felt fantastic!

On cleanse days, I had to refrain from eating food. But I was permitted to eat squares of “healthy chocolate” throughout the day as a way to manage my blood sugar, improve my mood and provide my body with energy.

When I tasted this chocolate for the first time, I instantly thought I was in heaven. It was amazing. Rich, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth, delicious chocolate. Not at all what I expected. Now I can’t live without these little squares of heaven. So I keep them in my purse when I need a boost or when I simply feel like having a chocolate treat.

Isa Delights were created by Dr. Paul Anderson, a medical doctor who discovered that there were numerous benefits to eating high quality chocolate.

In fact, studies show that those who eat this particular chocolate on cleanse days are much more successful than those who don’t.

In addition to cleanse days, Dr. Anderson also recommends eating 1-2 chocolates an hour before exercise. Cocoa butter turns on the brain’s feel good chemicals and satisfies the body, leading to a more productive and enjoyable workout.

Did you know that chocolate can also be used to boost your libido? According to Dr. Anderson, “If you turn on the brain, then you will turn on the rest of you.”
